The room was large, comfortable, the bed was nice. The fridge and microwave in the room were lifesavers. We had a ton of closet space as well. It was more than enough for two people. The area was also very nice, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, and diagonal to a large supermarket. There were bus stops nearby as well. The people at the front desk were super nice, helped us with our bags, even let me use the shower after check out. The bathroom was shared, however we never had to wait to use it. All around a lovely experience for my first visit to San Francisco.

Comfortable room, with microwave and fridge being great assets Bedside lamp with USB was a good addition Loved that I could see the street from my bay window (despite the traffic noise) Great location for getting public transport to places of interest Trader Joes and CVS Pharmacy just across the road for supplies Staff very polite and helpful

Hotel was very old, but clean. Was located on the tram tracks to downtown San Francisco. Could not walk far as Hotel was on a hill, so was hard, but tram was great.

Location was good although quite noisy with the cable cars and traffic. Best bit was the price. Great value for money no frill place to explore SF. Staff were so helpful and made us very welcome.

It was filthy there were cockroaches and I had to clean the room myself in order to feel comfortable in it with bleach but it did not have fitted sheets they were sliding all over the plastic covered mattresses, pillows were flat window blinds were broken and filthy

The hotel is in a great walking distance from everywhere one wants to go. The Cable Car passes right in front of the hotel so thats a major + for tourists and visitors. Basically the only good thing is that the hotel is walking distance from everywhere. Its close by to Chinatown, The Ferry Building.
